Babelize is an AI-powered localization platform that helps developers and teams translate their applications. The Service scans source code, extracts translatable strings, uses artificial intelligence to generate translations, and delivers them as locale files or pull requests to your repository. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
2.1. When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account.
2.2. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and any API keys associated with your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2.3. You may not create accounts by automated means or on behalf of another person without authorization. You may not share access credentials with unauthorized parties.
2.4. One person may not maintain more than one free account unless explicitly permitted by us.

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the source code, translation files, text, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Your Content to us.
By submitting Your Content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, limited license to access, use, reproduce, modify, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including:

The Service, including its software, architecture, AI models, algorithms, user interface, documentation, and branding, is owned by Babelize and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our intellectual property without our express written consent.
If you provide us with suggestions, feedback, or feature requests ("Feedback"), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that Feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
Paid subscription plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected during signup. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by applicable law.
All fees paid for subscriptions are final and non-refundable, including for unused portions of a subscription period. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of your current billing period, but no prorated refund will be issued.
We may change our subscription fees upon 30 days' notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You are responsible for all applicable taxes (including GST for Indian customers) and any other governmental charges associated with your use of the Service, except for taxes based on our income.
Usage of the Service is measured in AI Credits. Your subscription plan determines the number of AI Credits available to you each month. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period unless expressly stated in your plan.
7.1. We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
7.2. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We will provide you with a reasonable period (up to 30 days) to export your translation data, after which we may permanently delete Your Content from our systems.
7.3. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, to allow for account reactivation if desired.
7.4. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS; (B) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (C) THE TRANSLATIONS GENERATED BY THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; OR (D) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI-GENERATED TRANSLATIONS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR CULTURALLY INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND VERIFYING ALL TRANSLATIONS BEFORE USE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BABELIZE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 10,000 (OR THE EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Babelize, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
Before filing any claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at babelizeapp@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may pursue formal proceedings.
Subject to the informal resolution requirement, any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are only available to Enterprise plan customers under a separate agreement.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, payment processors, AI model providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these third parties. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address associated with your account) and/or by posting a notice on the Service prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Babelize regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
